A clear, visual 2023 report for Africa's infrastructure champions
The 2023 report for the Presidential Infrastructure Champions Initiative, designed in PowerPoint with maps, project highlights and clear country pages.
The Presidential Infrastructure Champions Initiative (PICI) was launched in 2011. Heads of State and Government act as champions for major cross border infrastructure projects across Africa, in transport, energy, ICT and water.
We designed the PICI Report 2023 in PowerPoint: a cover, contents, overview and membership pages, maps and charts showing where projects sit, a page for each champion country's projects, and closing sections on lessons learned, challenges and recommendations.
Each project page follows the same pattern, so readers can compare them quickly: a champion portrait with national flag, a short description, a map, and a green 'Project highlights' bar with icons for the key figures.
What we built
- Cover and opening pagesA photographic collage cover, contents, a quote page and an overview of the initiative and its member countries.
- Maps and chartsMaps of participating countries and a chart showing how PICI projects are spread across the continent.
- Country project pagesA consistent layout for each project, pairing a map and description with icon led highlights such as distance, people served and countries involved.
- Lessons and recommendationsClean closing sections on success factors, challenges, recommendations and the report's conclusion.
